Hello All - New Member, here.
Greetings,
My name is Bill. I'm retired, in my mid-60's, and reside in NY/NJ.
To my delight, I've joined your ranks by purchasing a low mileage 2008 XK, in Radiance Metallic Red /with Caramel Interior.
The Car isn't in my possession as of yet, since I've only just finalized the payment & delivery specifics.
The short wait has only intensified my excitement, and heightened my anticipation.
I've long been a fan of the XK. I love it's classic lines, it's stance, and it's throaty growl.
Now, I finally get to experience her charms, first hand.
I'm stoked... Christmas in September !
I'm not usually a "joiner", but after visiting this Forum for a while, I became impressed with the civility and helpfulness of it's membership.
Additionally, the knowledge and experiences that are generously shared among the group, make this site very inviting... and a must read.
In short order, I soon decided that this was a community of Jag enthusiasts that I could comfortably, and happily, hang with
How could I not take advantage of such a valuable (and entertaining) resource.
So, there it is. I'm happy to make your acquaintance, and ask inclusion into the club.
I'm happy to be here; I hope in time, you'll feel the same about having me.

I can see you've already found your way to the XK/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
