Hello all,
I've been lurking this forum for a while but finally gotten around to creating an account. I am the owner of a 1998 4.0 XJ8 sovereign. It has had a number of issues for a little while which I am trying to work through.
I have pulled off the throttle body (lcc1560aa) and found that there is a rubber vacuum line which is just cut off and doing nothing underneath. It is below and behind the TPS, pointed downwards. On the image below, it is the small pipe on the far left, diagonal down from the bottom left of the green gasket and to the left of the coolant line.
Where should this be attached to? What should this look like? No diagrams seem to have a good angle to show it.
Good to have you with us.
I see you posted in the tech section so hopefully someone can help you there.
Enjoy the forum.
