Hello from Birmingham uk
Hi....after a 25 year relationship with Bmw i fancied something different and after going on a journey in my mates x-type i was impressed with the difference in ride to my 2006 e60 and decided take the plunge.
I Bought a 2004 3.0 v6 x-type with 90k and a good bit of service history and have so far done 500 trouble free and very comfortable miles.
The trailing arm bushes need doing but apart from that and switching the aftermarket air filter with its dodgy hose that was triggering the engine management light at 3k revs, back to oem, its been a joy so far.
Hopefully won't have to be posting too many questions lol, but we'll see after I go and try to re-sync the key fob in the morning after i killed the battery last night by leaving the lights on...duhhh. After normally working from 10 metres away the fob wouldnt lock it..hmmph...let the fun begin !
