Default Hello from Brooklyn Jag fans

I'm a Jag fan originally from the Shetland Islands. I live in New York now and the crappy roads here are really hammering my '95 XJ6 (I'm replacing new tie rods after 4000 miles!!). I've had her for 9 years and she's been a great car. I'm just getting round to replacing the sound system so I have a few questions about that.

In a former life I was an engineer and worked on exhaust system development for a couple of years (had a lovely '79 XJ in those days). I worked on the X350 exhaust and fondly remember walking the hallowed halls of Whitley many times (as a supplier not an employee). The Jaguar engineers were great, real enthusiasts, and excellent pro's. Some characters too. I remember my favorite engineer trying to scare me on the MIRA test track in souped up S-Type. "The back end got a little squirrely there Trev"!

I'm glad to finally be joining the gang.
Cheers,
Trevor
