Wink Hello Everyone

First of all thank you so much for this forum, it has such a wealth of shared experience with great explanations, I am very grateful to be a part of it.

I own a 2005 Jaguar XJ8 3.5Litre V8 and love it, I’ve wanted one since I was about 7 years old (my Dad briefly owned a 1972 XJ6), only took 40 years to obtain, the quiet understated luxury and performance is so tastefully done and driving it is so enjoyable.

Welcome to the forums Golddaz,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the X350 forum with a head gasket question so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the Australia - Western Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/a...ia-western-96/ to find other members in your region.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Thanks Steve, it is such a great forum, I've already learned so much, I do intend to keep this car for a very long time, my wife drives the 2011 XF but I much prefer my XJ8, it just such a pleasure to drive. This forum will help me a lot in the coming years on how to best look after it and most of all do the preventative maintenance that I find some mechanics unwilling to do.
