I lurked on this board for the better part of 4 months doing research, and joined yesterday. I am not yet an owner, but definitely in the hunt for an XJR. A bit about me:

I am NorCal, and have been a longtime BMW owner since 1992, except for that 10 month period after kid #3 when I sold that first one. I currently am pushing an '01 740i that has reached it's limit, and will be parting her out very shortly. I've been active on the Bimmerboard forum since I bought my e38, and could not have kept her running without the help of that board. That's also the reason I joined this one. I'm not the best DIYer, but have been able to learn tons working on my car with the help of the Bimmerboard folks, and hope to bring that knowledge to an XJR purchase shortly.

I've always had a love for the Jag brand, and finally decided to take the plunge. Once I lock on a vehicle, I'll post the info, but do wanna say that this board has been incredibly valuable in my research thus far. So please keep posting, as it helps noobies like me. Thanks, and i'm anxiously to get going!
