I'm a new member and very interested in joining this club while I was purchasing my X-Type.
I actually use this forum to answer a lot of questions. Members comments/posts came extremely helpful and I'm very very grateful.
My nickname is Dre.
I bought my Jaguar to have a solid winter vehicle. Excited, if I end up keeping the car to drive it.
We get absolutely hammered with snow in the winter and where I live which is rural our roads don not get plowed and if you break down or go off road you're in big trouble.
Last year when we had our snowstorm it was nine days to get AMA to come out. Cars left in ditches marked with the RCMP caution tape. You are on your own. The closest store to me or gas station is about 60kms. My 2003 JAGUAR X-TYPE 3.0L AWD. I was very leary of buying an older used Jaguar as I didn't want a money pit, gas and go is what I needed . Work schedule doesn't allow me to tinker or run to appointments at the shop etc. I believe I got a solid deal and I'm quite happy with the car I did not realize that the engine was developed by Ford and Yamaha from what I was told and used in the Ford Mondeo in Europe. Volvo was responsible for the all-wheel drive system. Hope this was the truth LOL
If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.
