Hi, I just sold a German import and looking to purchase a Jag; most likely the XK8. I just found a beautiful one today, but someone bought it first. That said, I am interested learning what to expect with a later model Jag, expenses, etc. I really appreciate your help and expertise along the way.

Hi Y'all and thanks so much for the warm welcome.

I am looking for an XJ8 or XK8 convertible, a 2000 model or newer. Please let me know the high ticket repairs I might be facing.

Engine?
Transmission?
Timing Chain?
Water Pump?

I will be taking a journey across the country, so the fewer repairs I face, the better the journey. What are your thoughts?
