Hi everybody,

My name is Kip and I live in Knoxville Tn. I’ve been reading these posts for years and finally bought a one owner 2003 XJR, silver with oatmeal interior and 102k on the clock. I’m very excited as I have always wanted one but also a little nervous about it. Back in the late 80’s I owned a 1982 X6 in Oxblood with tan leather interior. That car was so beautiful but I had so much trouble out of it on a daily basis it seemed. I ended up totaling the car because the brakes failed and I couldn’t stop it. I’ve never quit thinking about Jaguars since then. There is just somethng about them that gets under your skin. I’m a bit of a tinkerer, so some things I can do myself and have already fixed a few minor things on it. I look forward to getting to know some of you and learning from this forum. With your help and expertise I hope to keep my new baby safe and not suffer the fate of the ‘82!

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
