Hello from Mass - 2016 F Type R
Hello,
I’ve been lurking in the F Type threads for a year or two and just picked up a used 2016 F Type R (in BRG, 6k miles) after searching for 3 or 4 months. I’ve benefited a lot from these forums already as they educated me for my purchase phase.
I live in Mass and bought the car from a non-jag dealer in Florida.
This is my second Jag. I had a 2000 XK8 convert (triple black) that I bought after it came off a 3 year lease. That was a good ownership experience for 9 years. I loved most things about the car although I felt it was a bit underpowered.
I’m really looking forward to driving the F Type and I appreciate that it has AWD as the New England winter weather is approaching fast. I have a pickup for my daily driver but plan to drive the jag thru the winter.
Looking forward to sharing with others in the forum.

The BRG used on the last XK's and F-Types is an unusual shade. My XK looks irridescent green in some light and black in others!
As you've already found your way to the F-Type forum, there's no need for a link to it from me.
Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
