Hi all!
finally got to the point of making an old dream come true, and got a 97' xk8 last month, IMHO one of the best looking car ever made.
the car seems to be technically in good shape, with some rust in one wheel well and the back panel. (hope to get it fixed during this winter, as it will be sitting in the garage during the snowy season)
have already been using the forums quite a bit, and hope to be contributing as time goes. I guess that buying an 17 year old car will involve some repairs and despairs, so being part of a forum like this is essential.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

The good thing about winter is it gives us time to get our Jags ready for spring. This will be my second winter with mine and the new list just keeps growing. I fixed the major issues last year and am happy to say I have driven it almost 10,000 miles this summer without a single hitch. It's a wonderful car when properly maintained. Good luck with yours and keep us posted, with pictures, when possible.
