Default Hello from Rochester NY!

Hi everyone! I joined the forum last year when I was planning to look at an XJ12, but another buyer got to it first. My name's Ken, and I live on the edge of the Bristol Hills south of Rochester NY.

I just bought a 1985 XJ-S. In addition to the Jag, I also have a '63 Triumph TR4, a '67 Datsun 1600, and an '81 DeLorean.

I'm looking forward to (I hope) resurrecting the old Jag, and I'm happy to be here!

Hello, Ken,
I had a 69 Datsun 1600, which got a 2L Toyota shoehorned into it. It was the most Fun car I ever had.

That sounds like a nice ride. I had a '66 back in high school, and it rusted out and fell apart around 1987. I finally found a replacement

It WAS a nice ride! It was still sound when I sold it in 2007, not wanting to watch it sit and rot. I have no place to drive it out here in the Stix. But if I still lived in town I'd still have it and still be driving the wheels off!

My replacement is the Jag in my sig. She makes me smile almost as much as Little Blue did.
