Dear Members,

Greetings!

I am T20 from Singapore.

Just got myself a 2011 XJ 3.0 diesel twin turbo, Euro 4.

Welcome T20,

A 2011 X351 shouldn't be giving you any trouble. Mentioning 'Euro 4' emissions standard in your description suggests Singapore import regulations are strict.

Thanks a lot for the warm welcome.
I have edited my signature, as advised.
Nice gestures there, Jim for the upgrade.

I actually wanted to wait for the arrival of the Euro 5 which will attract lower diesel supplementary tax here.
Since the dealer was giving rebates to off-set the extra tax associated with Euro 4, I just grabbed it.

Prior to that, I owned a 2010 XF 3.0 petrol briefly before it was traded-in for the XJ.

Diesel good choice. Since you have the tax difference discount included, it is best of both worlds. Euro V does not give dpf problem and you can pump the diesels in Malaysia.

Hi JimC64,

I see that you have had a few VAG cars.

Do you know:

1. whether there is any diagnostic tool like Ross-tech's VCDS for VAG cars, for Jag?

2. whether it's possible to have video-in-motion or TV-free for Jag's Nav system other than to pay for the Dual View? I am looking at software tweak instead of hardware add-on. If someone has already done this, are you able to point me the direction?

3. whether it's possible to add personal POI's like red light cameras to the Nav map?

I am sorry to bother you with these questions. Perhaps I should do a search in this forum and read up more.
