Hi everyone,

A few weeks ago my wife and I started looking at used XKR's. We found one we like and bought it yesterday. Here's the "sort of" part: we bought it at Carmax which has a 5 day return policy, so we are driving the car, having it checked out, etc. Until that 5 day period is up, I can't completely say it's ours. This will be my wife's daily driver and she wants to make sure she likes it.

I really don't expect to be returning this car! So far, we love it.

I want to say thank you to all the folks who post here. I found this site through a Google search the first day we started looking and I have been reading pages and pages of useful info. It has been a very big help and I'm sure it will continue to be. Thanks again!

The car is a 2004 XKR and pretty clean, apart from some door dings here and there. I'll attach a few pics.

I can't see that going back to Carmax.

Follow Charlie's link to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues. While you're there, check out the FREE PRIZE DRAW for a remote convertible top controller.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
