My name is Jeff, and I have not owned a Jaguar before, but I do quite love them. Recently a Jaguar went up for sale in my area and it is definitely a project car. I joined because I would like to be informed before I purchase it, basically what to look for that might make it too intense for me to be to restore. I have restored some American Muscle cars, a 69 Mustang, a 63 Ford F100, a 1976 Camaro, A 1984 Caddy, haha (yes eighty-four) and a few Crown Victoria ex-police vehicles. I love finding cars that have class, style, something unique and fun about them, that need some love and taking the time to build them up again. It's probably my favorite hobby. I look forward to contributing as much as I can to the forums and the community while I learn everything I can.

I can see you have already found your way to the XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum XK8/XKR tech section with a post on your proposed project. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
