Default Hello and Thank you! 2004 STR

New member to the site. Hello to everyone. Big thank you already for all the great information thus far, even the disagreements and sarcasm in some discussions.

Finally bought my first Jag! So learning fast as I can, 2004 Jaguar S-Series R. Everything seems to check out well mechanically to start. Going to methodically and proactively bring her back to “like new” as possible. Maybe get to where I can test that “limiter” somewhere “legal” in the near future.

Thanks again for all the great info so far, and hopefully much Moreno in the future.

Currently in Georgia, United States. Move around a lot with my job though. So this 2004 STR is an export to US for those keeping track. Mfr:10/03, MDZ / NED, #05306

Welcome to the forums Jag-i-fied,

You certainly are constantly moving. Your IP Address shows you're already in Montgomery, AL.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the S-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
