Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. That's a rare model to see here in the UK now so it must be very exclusive in Istanbul.

I can see you've already found your way to the XJ6 Series I, II & III technical forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for info on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

This is the breakdown of your VIN code:

SAJD = World Manufacturing Identifier - Daimler
A = Model Range - XJ6
L = Class - Canada specification
W = Engine Variant - 5.3 litre
4 = Transmission & Steering - Auto / LHD
C = Model Year - 1982
C = Emission Control System
468840 = Production Serial Number

Members in the model tech forum should be able to tell you the torque etc.
