Default Hello From Virginia

I am long over due for an intro. I had a long post typed out, then I lost it trying to upload photos.

This is my first Jag, bought it in October from a guy in Florida. Drove home amazing, then started chasing trans issues (that’s in another post).

About me, I am 35 and have been a stay at home dad for the past two years. My wife and I moved to Virginia from San Diego for a little more space and to be closer to family.

I do most of my own work on the various cars I’ve had. (Mazda’s, Rotary powered Mazda’s, Fords, motorcycles) My parents moved out here with us as well. Dad has been a huge resource with cars, welding etc. The Jag has been a huge challenge/drain on my sanity. I think we have it narrowed down to a faulty map sensor (was reading 5lbs at idle). I’m ready for it to be drivable again, there are a lot of Hemis out here that I want to harass!

I am really appreciative of the info this forum provides and can’t wait to get out to some car meets!

Welcome to the forums Brad,

Good to have you with us.

I can see you've already found your way to the X350 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Mid Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-mid-atlantic-65/ to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Thanks Graham!

I’ve been reading and searching this forum until I about pass out! Another member contacted me about the Shenandoah Valley British Car Club, along with a shop close by.

I also downloaded every manual and file I could find. Control F is a huge feature when searching these manuals!

I would love to have a meet on our property some day. In a past life I was in charge of a car show for a couple of years. It was a lot of fun.

Thank you! I should have mentioned those three Mazda’s have moved on to other owners. I need to take some current pictures of the fleet!
