Default Hello from WA

Pretty sure I had and account but it must have been deleted even though I only made it a couple weeks ago. Anyway I'm on the search for a good 90s 4 door that is either already converted to a 350 or that would be a good donor for said conversion. Its for my mom that wants one but doesn't want to deal with the unreliable engine. She has had quit a few over the years and the only one that never gave her problems or cost a boat load of money to repair or maintain was a XJS with a 350 but she finally got tired of them years ago and got rid of all of them. But a neigbor of hers has a 80s or early 90s xj6 with a 350 and it has renewed her interest in jaguars. So im gonna do my best to try and find what she wants or at least a good car that we can have converted. Im sure I can find a shop somewhere in the northwest that can do it and do it right if we cant find a already converted car. But anyway thats all for now I guess.

Hello, David,
I completely understand why your mother wants a Jaguar powered by the Heartbeat of America, considering her experience. You're best option might be to find a car already converted.

I'm thinking most professionally done conversions were done by firms no longer in business (there are a few notable exceptions but they're in California) due to lack of interest. My car for example, was converted in 1986 by a company no longer in existence. Most people converting Jaguars now are doing it themselves.

Craigs list will probably be your best place to search.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
