Here, Kitty, Kitty!
I've just bought a 2001, online yet. we'll see how it goes. I think I have to replace the tensioners since it was built in May. Again,we'll see once I take a look. Other than that, she's a beauty!
Welcome James, If your lucky maybe one of the previous owners took care of the tensioners and water pump. I was fortunate enough to have the previous owner addressed these issues. Good luck and enjoy your new cat

The drama continues
I'm about to head over to meet the truck she is arriving on, but the driver says that she had a tough time climbing the ramp, even though she seemed to be running just fine. She also has a cracked windshield that the dealer says he'll make good, though why he didn't fix it as soon as he saw it is beyond me.

From what little I know, the trans issue could be anything from wrong gear selection to bum gearbox.
Any thoughts out there?

I'm still going to change the tranny fluid PDQ, probably at the same time I put in the new tensioners....yeah, it was built in May 01
Her windshield has been replaced and she's gorgeous, can't say enough about how well the Florida car dealer handled things. Josh Batey of John Greer Auto sales has been as straight as an arrow, and as helpful as can be.
(hmm was that in violation of the no advertising rule? oh well...the mod can bounce it if so)
