Newbie Here. John Shanahan. I just bought a 1997 XJ6L in midnight blue from my brother. I've worked on it prior to getting it from him. Within the last year: New pads & rotors all around, new steering rack, new AC. (We did everything but the AC.)I've got some minor cosmetic things to do & some trim here & there, etc.
I'm 47 & I live in Boca Raton, FL. I'm usually working on my 02' F150 (I'm bringing her back as well.) or the jag on weekends in the parking lot of my condo. I'm a bit of a shade tree mechanic. So if your local & need any help... Just ask. I have a 3 ton jack in my truck always. I'll post some pics soon.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
