Welcome to the forum Stupified,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

We've had engine and transmission swaps reported. I can't recall any of our members swapping out the IRS but may have missed it.

Follow this link XJ XJ8 / XJR ( X308 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XJS forum for help, advice and information.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

You can also visit the US Central Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-central-36/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

I've known of some people who put the Jag IRS under a Ford, but not the other way round.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the welcome right now I'm just trying to pick a project. The reason I was wondering about the 8.8 ford rear end swap is because after several hours of searching I was unable to find a reasonable (cheap) solution for lower gears and a locker for the irs I will check out the other links you listed. Thank you
