Default Hi All !!

First Jaguar - a nice XF 2.2 Premium Luxury 2013. First car with so much electronics / digital bits that is a bit scary - I thought my Ducati Multi has a lot of electronics but nothing compare to the Jag apart from the keyless ignition.

I like to do my own service and some repairs so I will be asking stupid questions and hopefully be able to contribute to the forum as well - at least showing how not do things ie my mistakes.

Thank you

Welcome to the forum Stav,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

There's nothing Jaguar scheduled maintenance that's beyond the competent DIY'er but you would need some sophisticated kit to do diagnosis of electronics faults beyond the usual powertrain (Pxxxx) fault codes.

The key to a happy and reliable modern Jaguar is a well charged battery in good condition.

Follow this link XF and XFR ( X250 ) - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X250 forum for help, advice and information.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Hello, Stav,
There's no such thing as a stupid question about Jaguars, especially if you have no experience with them. Everyone started out at one time knowing little or nothing about these cars, even our Gurus and Experts.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
