New member from Austin Tx. I purchased a 88 XJS a short time ago. Was non running when I purchased it, but I have gotten the engine running. Slowing working on getting it back on the road.

Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to getting it on the road, but it will be some time. I was glad to hear it run for the first time, but I still have the rad out (only ran it for a couple mins at a time). I am presently trying to squeeze a Mark VIII electric fan, but it is a tight fit. I am sure I can get some good tips, and hopefully contribute some to.

It always takes longer to fix your own car! Worth it though.
