Default Hi to all- finally done lurking

Was bitten by the Jaguar bug maybe a year ago while looking at a 2001 xjr on Craigslist that needed an engine. The body lines were so nice and once I saw the thing had 370 hp and a supercharger, it moved to the top of my affordable, possible diamond in the rough, list. Finally 3 months ago I took the plunge and bought a black 2001 xjr for the paltry sum of $2200.00. After some minor tinkering (and some super helpful info from this awesome site) it's been nothing but smiles. Now I'm beginning to think I have a problem... I just bought her twin- for $1400.00. Again this site provided the key info I needed to get her running (who ever heard of bore wash?). Unfortunately kitty #2 had taken a swim at some point (cats definitely don't like water-this one sure didn't), and I may need call on the massive collection of knowledge and experience of all who have gone before. Glad to be a part of it all, and thanks for previous help. Paul

Hello,
That's what happens if you feed a cat; another one soon joins it also looking for a free meal. Congratulations on your brace of Jaguars! And a BLACK one no less!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome to the forum Paul,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.
You'll have a challenge with the second one if the modules have been wet.

It sounds like you've already found your way to the X308 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Lower Atlantic Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/u...r-atlantic-66/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
