Default Hi all new member and issues lol

Good evening all. I have an xf 08 v6 2.7td and a strange on but whilst in down in Glasgow last weekend visiting my overseas sister car started playing up. On joining m8 indicators went then dash then ac carried on til services and then whilst parked up wouldn't let me turn engine off then it powered up again and all was good. Kept doing this all weekend powering things on and off and at one point it took me an hour to switch off my lights. Eventually bit the bullet got battery checked out and replaced It was original battery so at ten years or so it was done. Have since got home and after a week car has started playing up again but only til I take it a good blast where I live and then fine for another cpl days. Thinking its drain g somewhere but haven't had chance as yet to get multi meter on it plz advise somebody

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

If a new battery is fitted to the vehicle, the battery monitoring system module will require re-calibrating using the Jaguar approved diagnostic system.

Hello,
I hope you had a good visit with your sister, and I hope you get your Jaguar fixed soon so it doesn't do this to you any time soon again!
