Welcome to the Forum, and as far as the husband goes. Tough Luck for him. Most people want a Jag, or already have one. LOL! I wanted one for 45+ years before I got one.

Welcome to the forums jagmimi,

I've moved your shift question to the X-Type forum for advice from members with the same model. Here's the direct link to it:
https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-light-241123/

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the main X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. You can also use the US Southwest Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/us-southwest-37/ to find other members in your region.

I've added vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. If you want to change these, go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Hello,
I'm sorry your husband isn't a fan, that must be hard for you. Look at it this way; he won't be fighting you over who gets to drive it Your car!

My husband bought my Jag for me, but I don't think at the time he realized what he'd done. He soon learned! She has her own stall in the garage, and NONE of his "stuff" is allowed there. If by some "accident" it "drifts" over the partition, Nix tells me and I move it back right away.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.
