hi everyone im james here on business i have a 97 xk8 convertible that was my pride and joy but unfortunately i dealt with a shadetree body shop that promised me a fully functional convertible but i should have known better than to believe that, so $10,000 later i have a car that cant be driven safely so here i am. ive done alot to this car before I tried to make it a convertible, i completely converted the powertrain to a supercharged set-up with all the donor parts from a 2003 xkr the powetrain all had less than 30000 miles on it so now im just going to try and help someone that may need parts for their own car and try to recoup some of my losses. if anyone is interested in parts let me know i will post a post in the classified area as soon as i can

thanks for the welcoming into the forum and yes they tried to make a coupe into a convertible. the convertible top lines up and everything its just no support for the middle of the car so it has a flex when your driving along and the doors wont open unless you get out of the car first.
