Hi from France
Hi there everyone,
I'm Josh, 22 years old, and have been living in France for the past 10 years. Ever since i could walk i've been in to cars, my dad has had countless cars and of course lots of Jaguars.
I'v had a few sporty rides over the past couple of years, but in december I could't resist what i think is the best car for under 15k: a Jaguar Xk8.
The car is a 1996, 4.0, that has covered 70 000 miles. It is a US spec car that was imported into Lithuania. I don't know when the mods where made to it, but it has a 2005 style nose cone, side skirts and different headlights (does anyone know what they are from?), it has a double din gps touchscreen stereo setup with a reversing camera. Check out my thread on the car's restauration and modifications.
Looking foreward to chatting yo like minded people about these great cars!

Welcome to the forum Josh,
That's low miles on a 1996. Take the rubber strips off the sides and it could easily be mistaken for a 2005.
Follow this link XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the XK8/XKR section for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top there is always a good place to start for info on regular issues. If you're new to this model, check the threads on tensioners and cooling system issues. These are the two main weaknesses.
Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You may also like to visit the Europe Region section by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/europe-42/ to find other members in mainland Europe.
Enjoy the forum.

Hi and a very warm welcome Josh.
Loads of like minded people in this forum. As you have the 2005 body kit it looks like the headlights may well be from that year also.
Enjoy the car and the forum.
