We have looked at the forums many times in the last couple of years. Our current Jag is a 1999 Vanden Plas Supercharged. We've owned it about 6 weeks. We previously owned a 2003 x-type and a 2005 s-type. Both had unlucky encounters with deer, almost exactly one year apart. Unfortunately, one of the hazards of living in the middle of nowhere. Anyway, hope to have much better luck with the VDP.
You all are great and have helped us solve many minor problems in the past, so a big Thanks!

I've seen some frightening pictures on the forum of the results of incidents with deer!

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
