Hi all,

Just joined earlier today. My name is Irvin, and I do not yet own a Jaguar.

That however I intend to change, hopefully before long. Currently driving either one of two somewhat elderly German sports cars, or my wife's modern Swedish station wagon, I have finally figured out the gap in our stable would nicely befit something stylish, fast and predominantly British. Guess once...

Spot on! Looking for a Jaguar, probably an X306 or X308 of some sort, not fully decided yet. Stumbled onto this forum while trying to understand the intricacies of Jaguar VIN numbers, just one of the many things I'm reading up on while getting to know the brand a bit better.

Truth be told, owning a Jaguar has been on my To Do list since boyhood, and having ticked most of the vaguely attainable cars on that list by now, it is about time to pursue this particular animal. Looking forward to getting 'educated' and hopefully reciprocate if and when I can!
