Default Hi Im Joel

Hello, My name is Joel D. Slater, Jaguar owner and enthusiast since 1986.

I just found this forum and read some of the posts entered here. I Knew there was still some Jaguar enthusiasts out there and I'm glad to be amoung fellow Jag lovers.

My history with Jaguar started at the age of thirteen when I saw a brand new 1986 Jaguar XJS HEV12. I fell in love with the ride, look, and performance and vowed to one day own one.

After I acquired my first Jaguar and began to learn how to work on it myself I liked them even more. More models became a part of my collection and after working at several dealerships and privately owned european shops I now have a very good grasp of what it takes to restore, maintain, and modify(if necessary) any Jaguar.

The trainig I recieved at the dealership afforded me the benefit of learning the whole History of Jaguar and how the brand came to be.

I have worked on Jaguars going all the way back to the twenties and up to now. If you hve any questions that havent been answered about Jaguar please contact me, I would love to talk with you.

Hello, Joel,
As you have discovered, when you work on a Jaguar you become bonded with it.

Welcome from ElinorB.
