Hi to everybody!
I'm Italian, 42 years old and in love with almost everything moves on two or more wheels (the rustier, the better).
I'm a fairly decent amateur mechanic, but have little to none knowledge in body works; also, I don't have any Jaguar (at least, not yet) and don't know much about them, but I love them since I was a child (my dad's mechanic had a white XJ6 in the seventies, he used to keep it in his shop and for me it's been love at first sight; also, he used to say "that's the most temperamental car I've ever seen", which added even more charme to the "white whale").
Now, I'm here in order to gain both knowledge and encouragement to save this beauty:
It's a manual XJ6 II 4.2, not been driven in the last 19 years, I believe.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
