yes its a 1996 with 55000miles in ice blue 20" detroit alloys all seems ok at moment and i live in cumbria

Follow the link in tmurray's post to the XK8 section. Lots of very good information in the FAQ's, particularly on the known weaknesses in the early XK8's.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
