Default Hi from Laura

Hi, I was looking online for info today and happened on this site. My question was already posted and answered (YAY!) so now I can just enjoy my delightful new (to me) car and read more posts to find answers to questions I didn't even know I had.
My car is a 2002 X Type. Gorgeous light blue. My hubby bought it for me because my other car got wrecked (son-in-law got rear ended driving my car) I figured he would find another Olds. Bravada because that was what he kept looking up online. Imagine my delight when he asked if I'd like a Jag!

Hello, Laura,
Sometimes husbands do the most unexpected things! That's how I got my Jaguar, he was haunting Craig's List for a replacement of our DD and found the car. I said I'd drive it, and I'm doing just that!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

You get them when he's sleeping.

Then you hide then where he can't find them. This isn't hard for women, because men have a handicap of that short chromosome that limits their ability to find things. Perhaps you've noticed this phenomenon regarding finding other things.

Yep, he is always asking me where I put something when it was actually him who buried it somewhere. I tend to know his "black holes though. If I hide them in my sewing room, he will never find them......unfortunately, neither would I.....

Yay! We finally got the new keys. A little over $300 for 2 genuine Jaguar keys instead of $500/each from the dealership. Well worth the search.

Laura,

A valuable lesson for your next Jaguar purchase - check it has a full set of keys before even thinking about condition etc! I've lost count of the number of newbies arriving on the forum with exactly the same issue.

$300 for two is a very good reduction but it's still a lot of money for what they are!

Graham
