Talking Hi new to forums XK8

Hi I have a Jaguar XK8 1996 79,000mls just going to take on the timing chain job due to water pump failure. I have had a couple of XJ6 S3 in my time love jags, porches, fast cars, not scared to take a car to pieces. I live in Essex at the moment, Woodford area but do all my car work at my brothers in Beckenham Kent.

Welcome to the forum Bones28,

Good to have you with us.
If you haven't found it already the XK8/R section is here XK8 / XKR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum you should also take a look at the UK regional section UK - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
Enjoy the forum and good luck with the tensioners.

If you haven't done so already you should add your car details to your signature to help others to help you.

Welcome to the forum Bones28,

Follow Norri's link to the XK8 section for help and advice. As you'll already know, tensioners is a 'favourite' topic with the early XK8's and there can never be too much knowledge or pics of the procedure.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User ID button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Hope you're back on the road soon. Enjoy the forum,

Graham
