Hi all,


Just wanted to say hello - I bought a very nice 2000 XK8 back in June, all black and have done tensioners, timing chains, water pump and thermostat tower. Beautiful to drive and I love it!


I have also owned my XJC since 1992, and it's a V12, Greensand in colour. Also a very nice car, but thirsty!

thanks Graham also about changing the transmission fluid - my experience is with 'older' Jags, and someone more experienced with later models drove mine a couple of days ago and recommended I change the fluid. The gearbox changes well (I think), and he said it was flaring a little, so I will get that done.


It only has 45K on it, but the trans fluid is probably original.
