Default Hi - New Northern UK Member

Af'noon.

Newly joined just to browse and chip in with questions now and again.

Owned my XF-R for a couple of years now. Love the car. It is in fact so perfect, I can't see what I'm going to replace it with.

Couple of photos.

Only mods are de-chrome, non-standard bonnet vents, which also were chrome but wrapped red.

Struts behind front grille going red next week too.

Hello, Jon,
I *Like* the de-chrome!! I sort of think Chrome is overdone on many cars to the point they actually look cheap.
Well done!

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Yes; XFRs rock. We have the facelift version, having had a 4.2 V8 NA previously. I'm actually not sure which I prefer appearancewise, but it doesn't half shift. We are going to Hungary in it tomorrow evening, looking forward to attacking our previous record for the 1,100 mile journey of 10 hours driving time.
having owned / driven almost every other super saloon, nothing gets even close; only my old Yamaha YZF750 SP, fitted with a modified FZR1000 engine would out accelerate it.
