Just go the car of my dreams and the driver window comes down when the door is open as it should but doesn't go back up? any help would be appreciated, i have only just signed up so will look around the site tomorrow. nice to be part of the Jag club

The window drop is a classic symptom of a partially discharged or failing battery.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Hi, and thanks for the welcomes. Reading through the site I tried the reset instructions, engine running, window all the way down and up until it clicks, worked a treat for 3 day so as stated, it is probably the battery going......ant recommendations, battery wiese guys?
