This is our first Jaguar, though we've been wanting one for eons. Finally bought a 1992 XJS red convertible, absolutely gorgeous. The dealer has it in his shop doing a complete check-up to make sure it will be perfect when it is delivered, so we are anxiously awaiting its arrival. We're older and crazier than most, but life is short, and our car (R-Car) is our long time treat arrived. Can't wait for our first long run.

Not being adept at how to manage my way through the forum I'm still in the learning process. Our XJS12 is still being gone over by the dealer (a very fussy guy), so I doubt we will have it in our possession for at least another week. Actually, that's okay because with cloudy skies and rain for a few days we wouldn't want to take it out anyway.
