Default Hi from a Newbie in Tennessee...

Hello to all. Just bought a used 2008 XJ-8L that is pretty sharp looking (I'm not biased - really!). My second Jag over the years and I look forward to a good relationship with her... This one is indigo blue color and has 78200 miles. Car is in great shape though inspite of the miles, barely broke-in I say; and I love the full size spare!!

I tend to work on my own stuff most of the time, until it gets the need to have special tools/equipment, so if anyone has any advice on some preventative maintenace, feel free to type away...

Cheers!
Nash.

Welcome to the forum Nash,

Plenty of information here to help with maintenance and repairs - not that repairs will ever be needed.

Follow this link XJ ( X350 & X358 ) XJ6 / XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to the X350 section for help, advice and information.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the US Southern MidWest Region section by following this link Southern MidWest - AR LA MS KY TN AL - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forum.

Welcome to yourself, another X350 owner, the car that thinks it's an aeroplane, (its that slinky aluminium body !!).

Any questions please post in the X350 forum.

Thanks to all for the welcome messages...
Already started to use the forum with input on brake noise. Learning the hard way about the brands quirkey lug nuts! (and some stupid non-caring mechanics who want the pay but don't have professional ethics or atandards!!) Have to order some lug nuts this week, and the brake job I started over the weekend is still work-in-progress (due to the lug nuts!).
