Default Hi from Sydney

Hi All!
Im a 17 year old guy from Sydney Australia.
As a graduation and university entry gift my dad helped me find a white Jaguar X Type Sport (2.5l AWD). The car is somewhat rare as in our city these jaguars in this colour are nowhere to be found, let alone ones with a red interior.

I purchased the car so it is one less worry of my fathers mind but it is a car I plan to keep especially since its such a memory to keep. It is currently sitting on 125000kms and yet the car is as smooth as water.

I am not of the wealthiest of people so the car is quite expensive to maintain (it might be under the sofa change for others, but not for me, hopefully I can be successful in the field I am studying to change that ) and this forum has helped me with some minor repairs through its stickies which have saved me a ton of cash, for which I am grateful for.

On the way back from Bathurst 12 Hour 2016 the transfer box broke when trying to avoid a collision under pressure and this site helped me make sure I made no mistakes when replacing and repairing the car, for which I am further grateful.

This be the car:

The car is planned to have some performance and light cosmetic work done to it to further set it out from the rest of the cars on the streets (its already a head turner but we want to turn it into a neck breaker )

The community has been so nice and kind so far and that is something I appreciate very much.

Thank you and hi once again. I hope you guys can take care of my clumsy self.
PS: 'Straya mate

Welcome to the forum Muamin,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. Make sure it's not your neck that gets broken!

It sounds like you've already found your way to the X-Type forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the Australia - New South Wales / ACT Region forum by following this link Australia - New South Wales / ACT - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.
