Hi all,
I am new to forums and this is my first ever post so be patient. I live in Ryde (North Sydney) and have just recently bought a 1999 S type with 74k on the clock. I have bad luck when buying cars and so far that it continuing. 4 weeks in I have replaced the battery, have picked up a slow puncture and have blown the header tank, all after having done about 50kms. Now I cant get the air out of the water system. Hope my luck changes soon.

Remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Welcome fellow countryman. You have bad luck buying cars and you buy a Jag? Punctures are part of motoring and batteries here have a mind of their own but the header tank blows? Ok that's an easy replacement but what caused it to blow would be the thing that may be cause for concern.
