Default Hi From Tonga

Hi, I live in Tonga in the South Pacific and I have a 2002 X Type. Getting technical assistance and parts is very difficult here. I have had my car for a year and so far have been lucky with no major issues. I have a couple of small problems now and will make a separate post in technical section. Cheers, Tim.

Welcome to the forums Tim,

Good to have you with us.

Follow this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x-type-x400-14/ to the X-Type forum for help, advice and information. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues. I would usually add a link to the relevant Region forum to help find other members in your region but, searching the member list, I see you are the only one in Tonga.

I've added vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. If you want to change these, go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham

Welcome. You've certainly got a unique car for your island. I was curious enough to pull up Google Streetview and have a look around. People there sure seem to like minivans.

Thanks for the warm welcome. Yes, not many Jags in Tonga. I know of three on the main island of Tongatapu (a friend of mine owns two of them). I have the only one on my island, Vava'u. It gets a lot of attention, I'm famous, I'm the English guy with the Jaguar!
