Default How-do...

How-do squires.

New member here. Living in Cork city, Ireland and driving a rather splendid old '99 S-Type 3.0 V6 manual in a slightly unusual "misty blue". Looking forward to chatting to you all, and learning lots!

It sure is. I've just replaced the rear subframe due to a rust-induced NCT (like the MOT in the U.K.) failure, and am currently waiting on a spurious heater valve - common fault in them, apparently. That aside, it's fresh as a daisy and relatively trouble-free for the last six years and 130,000 miles.

Thanks Jim - you're a gent! Two confessions to make, one sort of leading on to the other: One, my name isn't actually Jim, it's Noel. I'm a Jim Goose fan. Two, I have been known on occasion to eschew the Jag in favour of an FZR1000.

Well, life-support systems are back on-line. New DCC valve gone in, from the Motorcraft parts-bin. A third of the price I would have paid for the same thing with "Jaguar" written on it. Winning!
