Default Howdo

I just bought an old XKR, having previously had a 2000 8 and a 2004 8 . I posted first in another area, purely because I googled a question , and this site popped up with a prompt to ask and join . I was looking which jag forum to join , having previously been on XKEC for about 4 years but its 40 quid now -and I don't do the collar and tie dinner and dance type stuff .
The R has been stood for 9 months so I bought it knowing there was some work to be done. Ive got the locks working , cleaned the performance air filter which made a huge difference to acceleration, although I still think there is more to be coaxed out. It came with an old dyno printout of 413bhp- Its got some paramount performance parts on it . Oil tomorrow, and a bit of rust scrubbing

Welcome to the forum Wag,

Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums.

I know you've already found your way to the XK8/XKR forum so there's no need for a link to it from me.
The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.

Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.

You can also visit the UK & Eire Region forum by following this link https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/uk-eire-68/
to find other members in your region.

Enjoy the forums.

Graham
