Default Steve from Pollock La

Hi. New member here from Central Louisiana, I have owned 2 88 xjs but
have recently purchased an 87 xjs v12 from an estate. I have not yet began
work on it but intend to soon. I've been told it was the worst engine Jaguar
ever made but I want to hear that baby run. Car has 51K and hasn't run for
a while. I put a new battery in and it does turn over. The only thing I've
found just looking is the passenger side window doesn't and the hood struts
are gone. I am not a mechanic but have a passion for forgotten cars. Thanks
for having a group that I can get expertise from . I will be asking.

Those guys between them know *Everything* about the car, certainly how to get that V12 running again.

Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome.

UM, "the worst engine.......", OOPS.

Maybe the best engine, and made the worst by the previous "experts" that have fiddled, and the owners that refuse to do the maintenance as needed, coz it gets tooooo hard.

I am biased, and make NO excuses for that.
