I'm new to the Jaguar forums I recently purchased my dream car, a XK8 convertible. I have wanted a Jaguar for more than 30 years!! I have a 2001 silver with a black top and oatmeal interior. It has the navigation - a shame that can't be updated. It's such a beautifully designed car...as most of you know... so I'm excited to finally get one!! It has a few querks such as the ABS, Trac off alerts, but with the help of this forum and a OBDII, I hope to work on these issues and get this pretty cat to her highest performance level.
I'm so grateful that this forum exists and look forward to some great learning experiences!!
I'll try to post a few pics- as soon as I figure out how to do that! I live in the Midlands area of SC. There aren't to many places here that work on Jags so I'm either going to do the work myself or driving 50 miles to a repair shop..
