Default I am happy to be with you!

Hello guys. I recently purchased my first vintage jaguar - a XJ40 1989 model registered in 1991 - and I will be happy to let you see soon!
The car has only 53,000 km and is owned by one person.
I found it by chance while lying abandoned and full of dust in a garage.
Engine and interior perfect, like new.
The body needs a little paint because it is opaque.
The same goes for the wheel rims.
The engine starts immediately and did not need anything, just a check and oil change!
I am happy to be part of your community and to exchange views with you on the Jaguar.
I hope to buy soon a 1989 XJS - spotted in the same conditions of my current XJ40!
See you soon.

I found my black one by chance as well. I noticed the grill sticking out from about 5 feet of snow! Welcome to the forum!

Hello and welcome to jaguarforums.com.

Oh one other thing you need to put your car details in your signature. I am speaking of the Year, Make & Model. Without it you may not get the input you are looking for.

Please take a moment and read the information provided to you explaining the rules. Be patient and enjoy the site.

Hi Enzocir

My wife is Italian, from Rome, and I have been there off and on since 1981, but I never saw many Jaguars there. However, having driven in Italy and Rome in 2007, maybe its the size of Jaguars that is the problem; the narrow streets in Rome and elsewhere in Italy are not really for big cars, and I was driving a Rover 75 then and found that a bit large !

I may be down to Rome later this year in my X350 or early in 2012. It's a long drive from Cheshire, England.
