I just joined!
Hello Folks,
I just joined this forum after reading many of the posts. I've owned a 1993 XJ6 for 6 years now. It is glacier white on the outside and barley on the inside. The alloy wheels are an upgrade with the lattice pattern. The car is in great condition and I do a great deal of my own work on it. I bought it from a friend of my aunt; at the time it had 87,000 miles. Now it has 108,000 miles. This is the base model but it came with options such as the sunroof, factory CD player, leather interior and air conditioning. I've done the following to keep it in great shape: replaced the headliner, the a.c. evaporator, wheel bearings, rear shocks and mounts, front shock bushings, differential pinion seal, trunk latch, power antenna grommet, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor, idle air control valve, coolant temperature sensor, tires, glove box grommets, console lid for a cup holder version, thermostat, transmission mount, spare tire hold down bolt, and replenished the trans fluid. Beyond that I can't remember what else I've done but the car runs really well and is a joy to drive. I live in New Jersey where we have hot summers and cold winters, so it's a must to have strong air conditioning in the summer and good heat in the winter. This car has never been driven in the snow and has always been kept in a garage. I'll post some pictures in the gallery section.

Welcome to the forum Xdevo1973,
Good to have you with us at Jaguar forums. That's some 'to do' list you've worked through.
I can see you've already found your way to the XJ40 forum so there's no need for a link to it from me. The 'HOW TO' thread at the top is a good place to start for information on regular issues.
Please remember to add vehicle details to your Signature to help others to give relevant advice. Go to the User CP button on the left of the top menu bar, then Settings & Options under Your Control Panel. Select Edit Signature and enter the details.
You can also visit the US Northeast Region forum by following this link US Northeast - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum to find other members in your region.
Enjoy the forums.
